Your rights as a data subject

  • Data portability, provided you have consented to data processing or concluded a contract with us (Art. 20 GDPR).

If you have issued us your consent, you may revoke it at any time with effect for the future.

You can always lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the competent supervisory authority in your federal state of residence or the competent authority responsible for and overseeing our actions.

Collection of general information when visiting our website

Nature and purpose of processing

When you access our website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise submit information, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, your IP address and similar information.

It is processed for the following purposes:

  • To ensure a seamless connection of the website,
  • To ensure our website can be used without any issues,
  • To assess system security and stability and
  • for all other administrative purposes.

There is no scope for using this data to draw conclusions about any individual. We may statistically evaluate this kind of information to optimise our website and the technology behind it.

The processing is performed in accordance with point (f) of Art. 6(1) GDPR and reflects our legitimate interest in making our website more stable and functional.

Recipient

The recipients of the data may be technical service providers who act as order processors to help operate and maintain our website.

Storage duration

The data will be deleted as soon as no longer required for the purpose of collection. This generally applies for the data that is used to provide the website, when the respective session ends.

Provision prescribed or required

The provision of the aforementioned personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without the IP address, the service and functionality of our website is not guaranteed. In addition, individual services and services may be unavailable or restricted. Consequently, we disclaim any scope for objection.

Contact form

Type and purpose of processing

The data you enter is stored to facilitate individual communication with you. Accordingly, you must disclose a valid email address and your name. This is used to assign your request and process any subsequent response to the same. The decision to disclose further data is voluntary.

Legal basis

The data entered in the contact form is processed based on a legitimate interest (point (f) of Art. 6(1) GDPR).

Our intention in providing the contact form is to make it as simple as possible for you to contact us. The information you provide will be stored to process the enquiry and for possible follow-up questions.

If you contact us to request a quote, the data entered in the contact form will be processed to facilitate pre-contractual measures (point (b) of Art. 6(1) GDPR).

Recipients

Recipients of the data are processors, if applicable.

Storage duration:

Data will be deleted no later than six months after processing the request.

If a contractual relationship is established, we are obliged to comply with the statutory retention periods according to the German Commercial Code (HGB) and delete your data after these periods have expired.

Provision prescribed or required

Your personal data is provided on a voluntary basis. However, we can only process your request if you provide us with your name, email address and cite the reason for the request.

Use of Google Maps

Type and purpose of processing

We use the Google Maps service on this website. Google Maps is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). This allows us to show you interactive maps directly in the website and provides you with convenient access to the map function.

Legal basis

The legal basis for integrating Google Maps and the related transfer of data to Google is your consent. (point (a) of Art. 6(1) GDPR).

Recipient

When you visit the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding sub-page of our website. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account.

If you would rather that this assignment did not take place, you must log out of Google before activating the button. Google stores your data in the form of a usage profile, which it then uses for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the website design in line with requirements. The main reason for such evaluation (even for non logged-in users) is to provide needs-based advertising and inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. Integrating Google Maps does not entail any collection of personal data on our part.

Revocation of consent

If you would prefer that Google does not collect, process or use data about you via our website, you may deactivate JavaScript in your browser settings. In this case, however, you will be unable to use our website or only to do so to a limited extent.
